FBI & Gardner Museum offer $5 million reward for information leading to the paintings’ recovery.
The works were stolen in an early morning theft reminiscent of a movie plot exactly 23 years ago today in 1990. The statute of limitations has run out for the thieves - unnamed members of a “criminal organization with a base in the mid-Atlantic states and New England”- but the FBI are reaching out to the public to assist in bringing a close to this “final chapter” of the still-unsolved case.
(That aside, though, the FBI reaaaaally needs to reconsider hiring whoever did the sound for that video…)
oh hai this is my radio station and you should show it some support, please, because the non-commercial college radio industry is dying a slow and painful death, and I wouldn’t be super surprised if winning an award like this ended up being the only thing between our license getting sold by BC against our will on day.

First parade yesterday; Pride in Boston. Absolutely amazing. So many beautiful moments, supportive people and appreciation and thankfulness being exuded by both the spectators and the parade-goers. Probably one of the best emotional energies I have been around in a while.
