I’d really like to buy these, especially because they’re already dirt cheap, but I likely can’t, because my textbooks cost me $600 this semester, leaving me with not enough money to have to buy textbooks next semester at this point.
I feel whiney and spoiled by saying this, but at least I will admit it’s my own fault I came home from Germany without any money. What I refuse to agree with, though, is that this kind of expenditure for college textbooks is reasonable. Especially when $320 of it went towards not books, but COURSE PACKETS that are printed up in the same place that prints flyers and stickers for the rest of the school. Fuck you, professors, and fuck you Harvard Business School and your ridiculous royalties to keep the rich rich.
The amount of extortion Americans put up with from the education system in this country is absurd.
After my semester here, I think I’m going to go home to the US and start calling this the German Shoe. Damn Europeans and being so good looking, and Bavarians for having better looking women than men.
